Radiofrequency Ablation - Advanced Heart and Vein

What is Radiofrequency Ablation?

Radiofrequency ablation is a minimally-invasive procedure used to close off a vein that has been allowing blood to flow in both directions. That vein is causing more harm than good. By closing it off, we can redirect blood flow to your healthy veins and then move forward to the removal of bulgy, varicose veins.

Benefits of Radiofrequency Ablation

  • Radiofrequency ablation is a relatively safe and effective procedure
  • Administered on an outpatient basis
  • Less pain than traditional vein surgery
  • Opportunity for repeat treatments until goals are met
