Dr. Kyle E. Haffner, DPM, FACFAS is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon specializing in limb preservation, complex reconstruction, and amputation prevention. Dr. Haffner also focuses on treating high-risk patients with diabetes, peripheral arterial disease, and chronic lower extremity wounds. Dr. Haffner earned his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and completed comprehensive surgical residency training in Houston, Texas, with extensive experience in forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle reconstruction.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) in both:

  • Foot Surgery
  • Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery (RRA)

This dual certification represents the highest level of surgical qualification in podiatric medicine and reflects advanced expertise in managing both routine and highly complex pathology.

Dr. Haffner’s clinical practice is centered on multidisciplinary limb salvage, working closely with vascular and cardiology teams to address both the structural and circulatory drivers of lower extremity disease. His integrated care model enables early identification of peripheral arterial disease, rapid coordination of revascularization, and improved healing outcomes for patients at risk of amputation.

Outside the clinic, Haffner enjoys spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities including biking, fishing, golfing, and hiking across Colorado’s Front Range.
