Shannon is a cardiovascular nurse practitioner with an extensive background and cardiology. A Texas native, she earned her BSN in The University of Texas at Austin and spent over a decade as a cardiology RN working in the cardiovascular ICU and the cardiac cath lab. Driven to advance her career, she earned an MSN from Walden University in 2020 and is now a board-certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She also holds an additional CVNP board certification.

Shannon has been practicing as a cardiovascular nurse practitioner in both the inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular settings since 2021, before joining Advanced Heart and Vein Center in 2024.

Since moving to Colorado in 2015, Shannon has embraced life in the mountains and enjoys skiing and hiking. She loves to travel the world and experience new cultures.
