Interventional Cardiologist and Vascular Disease

Dr Faiwiszewski is an interventional cardiologist who is passionate about whole patient care. He focuses primarily on managing cardiovascular disease risk factors, treating coronary artery disease, heart failure, and endovascular treatments for vascular conditions. This includes managing peripheral artery disease, especially in regards to limb preservation and amputation prevention, as well as aortic aneurysms, and carotid artery disease. He also treats leg blood clots (DVTs) and blood clots in the lung (Pulmonary Embolism) with intravascular therapies.

Dr Faiwiszewski completed undergraduate studies at Rutgers University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Applied Physics. He then completed medical school at New Jersey Medical School. Subsequent training included internship, residency, and chief residency at University of California, San Diego, followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at University of Colorado. He then went on to train in interventional cardiology at the University of Utah and then finished a fellowship in vascular medicine and endovascular intervention at Columbia University. He holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Vascular Medicine, Endovascular Intervention, and is a Registered Physician of Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).

Dr Faiwiszewski participates in clinical research in a number of clinical trials. He is an active member of the Society of Vascular Medicine (SVM), Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention (SCAI), The American College of Cardiology (ACC), and Vascular Interventional Advances (VIVA).

In his spare time, Dr Faiwiszewski enjoys playing guitar, snowboarding, photography, and exploring Denver with his wife and two dogs.
